April 30, 2026

New York, NY - On March 4th, New York Life Managing Partner Dominick Kortkamp brought energy and enthusiasm to a lighthearted fundraising tradition by selecting the Theodore Roosevelt Association (TRA) as the beneficiary of this year’s Pie Day Challenge.
Held at New York Life’s Manhattan General Office at One World Trade Center, the event invited staff members to take part in a playful yet meaningful activity: donating for the chance to pie the Managing Partner. The spirited event drew strong participation across the office, blending camaraderie with philanthropy.
“It’s a privilege for our firm to raise and donate funds for the Theodore Roosevelt Association—a great cause that continues to make a real difference for men and women across our communities,” said Dominick Kortkamp.
By the end of the challenge, New York Life staff members had raised more than $2,300 in support of the TRA’s Police Program and its broader mission. The funds will help advance the TRA’s ongoing efforts to promote civic leadership, public service, and the enduring legacy of Theodore Roosevelt.
“On behalf of the Theodore Roosevelt Association, I want to extend our sincere thanks to Dominick Kortkamp, Cyrielle Rivera, and the entire New York Life staff for their generosity and enthusiasm,” said TRA Executive Director Chris Cosentino. “Their support of our Police Program and mission work makes a meaningful difference, and we are truly grateful for their commitment to service.”
The New York Life Foundation is the company’s charitable arm and has contributed hundreds of millions of dollars to national and local nonprofit organizations since 1979. It focuses especially on programs that benefit young people, including educational enhancement and childhood bereavement initiatives, and offers competitive local and national grant opportunities for eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
