Theodore Roosevelt Association Supports “Thank You, NYPD” Campaign with $1,000 Contribution
March 23, 2026
Donation honors the NYPD’s service to New York City and strengthens community partnerships
Oyster Bay, NY – March 23, 2026 – The Theodore Roosevelt Association (TRA) proudly announced its support for Madison Square Garden Entertainment’s “Thank You, NYPD” campaign with a $1,000 contribution to the New York City Police Foundation. The campaign celebrates the men and women of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) for their dedication to keeping the city safe and fostering positive relationships with the communities they serve.
The TRA’s gift will directly support the Police Foundation’s mission to provide resources for the NYPD to innovate and enhance the quality of its services; build bridges with the community; and make New York City a safer place to live, work, and visit.
“Theodore Roosevelt, who once served as President of the New York City Board of Police Commissioners, believed deeply in the ideals of duty, integrity, and public service,” said
Chris Cosentino, Executive Director of the Theodore Roosevelt Association. “This contribution honors that legacy and expresses our gratitude to the NYPD for carrying forward the same spirit of courage and commitment that Roosevelt embodied. We are proud to say, ‘Thank you, NYPD.’”
The “Thank You, NYPD” initiative will culminate in a special concert event at Madison Square Garden on
Saturday, March 28, offered exclusively to NYPD officers, civilian employees, and their families. The event will feature performances by John Fogerty, Cyndi Lauper, Fat Joe, and others, as well as appearances by prominent New Yorkers. MSG Entertainment is providing The Garden rent-free and covering all production costs to make this celebration possible.
Now in its 55th year, the New York City Police Foundation continues to play a vital role in supporting the NYPD by advancing programs and technology to prevent crime, strengthen community relations, and enhance officer wellness and professionalism.
