Robert Bowling is an historian and author. He is the author of Wicked Fishers and a contributing author of Celebrating Hamilton County, 200 Years of Change. He is a contributing writer to Officer Magazine focusing on law enforcement history. He has also written history articles for other publications to include the Michigan History Magazine, The National Pastime, and the Journal of School Safety. He serves as the historian for the Fishers Historical Society and as an historical researcher for the Officer Down Memorial Page. He is a former board member for the Historic Ambassador House and a current board member of the Indiana Chapter of the Theodore Roosevelt Association. A retired police officer, he now teaches criminal justice at a local high school.
