In accordance with section two of article six of the Constitution and the statute in such case made and provided, the

Honorable ALMET F. JENKS of the county of Kings who is a justice of the Supreme Court of the Second Judicial District is hereby designated as an Associate Justice of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in and for the Second Judicial Department for the term of five years from April 16 1900 to succeed the Honorable EDWARD W.HATCH whose designation as such Associate Justice has been and at his own request
