For breakfast, it was hard boiled eggs (he didn't like soft- or medium-boiled eggs) with waffles. TR's diet consisted of quite a bit of game from hunting expeditions he and his friends took. He also liked southern fried chicken with white gravy & grits. A good Sunday dinner would have been roast beef, mashed potatoes, and string beans. He was also a fan of asparagus, which was canned locally. TR drank about a gallon of coffee per day. He was also taking nitroglycerin pills for his heart condition from the time he was in college. The cookbook used by the cook at Sagamore Hill is still there, in Edith's drawing room. It also contains receipes for cookies. You can find recipes for ALL the Presidents in: The Presidents' Cookbook
