H. W. Brands, author of TR: The Last Romantic,
addressed the Theodore Roosevelt Association crowd on the grounds
of The Alamo at a 'f'iesta dinner'. Always animated, Brands regaled
the group with tales of the Rough Riders in training in Texas.

President Bush gives a thumbs up and joins in
the cheer at the Annual Dinner at the Menger Hotel. It was a "bully"
evening.
